Congratulations are in order for Grammy Award-winning singer Lauryn Hill!
The former first lady of The Fugees welcomed her sixth child - a boy - on Saturday night (July 23), Blackcelebkids.com reports.
“Mother and baby are fine,” says a source, who adds that Lauryn, 36, and family “had a little scare because the baby came out the womb with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. All is well now and everyone is happy.”
The Everything is Everything singer already has five kids with her longtime beau, Rohan Marley, who recently made headlines for leaving an expectant Lauryn for Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana.
But Rohan dismissed these rumors, saying, “Ms. Hill is the mother of my children, whom I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for. I would never do that."
Lauryn and Rohan - the fourth son of reggae legend Bob Marley - are parents to five children: Zion, 13, Selah, 12, Joshua, 9, John, 8, and Sarah, 3.
